Auspice Abilities

Hunter's Aspect: The Curse: When the Elodoth hunts, the shadow moves. Little spirits stir, driven by the unconscious aura of an apex predator. The prey finds things begin to go wrong around him, electronics malfunction, doors jam, Influences falter. A streak of bad luck for certain, sometimes bad enough to result in injury. Once per day a single roll the prey makes takes a penalty equal to the Elodoth’s Primal Urge. Should the roll fail, it is considered a Dramatic Failure. This can force rolls that would otherwise never occur. Such as a [Dexterity + Athletics] roll to traverse a staircase, or [Intelligence + Computers] just to power up a laptop.

Auspice Benefit: Darkness Into Light: An Elodoth is perpetually aware of the line between light and darkness, and with some effort, he can push another werewolf over that line. Once per chapter, the Elodoth can cure a werewolf of Death Rage. The target thus “cured” suffers the Stunned Tilt for the turn after she leaves Death Rage, if she was in Basu-Im. Alternately, the character can force a werewolf into Death Rage. This requires a roll of Presence + Empathy + Primal Urge against the target’s Resolve + Composure. If the Elodoth wins, the target enters Wasu-Im. This power only works on Uratha, obviously.

Merits

  • Eidetic Memory: Does not have to make rolls to remember past experiences. Gains +2 bonus on making Intelligence + Composure (or relevant Skill) rolls to recall minute facts from swaths of information.
  • Indomitable: Gains +2 bonus to rolls to contest supernatural mental influence. If the ability is resisted, instead the effect is penalised by 2.
  • Iron Stamina: Reduce penalties due to fatigue or injury by 2.
  • Patient: When taking an extended action, may make two additional rolls above the normal Attribute + Skill limit.
  • Professional Training (Doctor; Asset Skills: Empathy, Medicine)
    • Networking: Gain 2 dots of contacts in fields relating to chosen field.
    • Continuing Education: Gain 9-Again on rolls using Asset Skills
  • Relentless Assault: Fighting style, can use the following manouvres in forms with Strength and Stamina 3+
    • Drop of a Hat: Gains +3 Initiative in the first round of combat.
    • Eye of the Tiger: When using All-Out Attack, retain Defence against the attacked target.

Gifts

Know Thy Prey: (1 Essence, Wits + Socialise + Honor - prey's Anonymity merit, if any) Can be used on any prey the uratha can percieve.
On Success: Learn every name the prey is know by, as long as someone other than the prey knows it, as well as any Alternate Identity or Fame merits they possess. Learn all Allies, Contacts, Retainer, Resources, Staff and Status merits they possess with equal or fewer dots than successes rolled.
Exceptional Success: Gain an additional piece of secret or valuable knowledge that someone, somewhere knows about the prey.
Beast Talker: Can talk to and understand animals.
Scent Beneath the Surface: (1 Essence, Wits + Empathy + Honor vs Composure + Supernatural Tolerance) Spend at least one turn in conversation with or observation of the prey.
On success: For remainder of the scene, know ifthe prey's words and actions are truthful or deceptive, including lies, omissions, misleading and dissembling.
Exceptional Success: In addition, add Honor to all Manipulation-based rolls against the prey.
