	Considered the 'black sheep' of the Ushkovych family, Gideon is trying to stay away from the family but no matter what he does they seem to keep him close. Gideon is known within the District he works for having covered up some family thing but they could not pin it on him and he had been relegated to desk work ever since.

	Gideon is of average height, slim build with an aversion to too much physical exertion. Its not that he can't--he can if he has to--he just doesn't want to. He keeps his reddish brown hair short and he is clean shaven. When not in uniform, Gideon wears a dark colored suit with no jacket and while walking the dogs a track suit that is almost constantly covered in grass stains and mud.

	Bitter about his lot in the Police Department and angry at his family that undermine his choice to try to stay away from crime. Gideon readily adopted the bastardization of his name to try to distance himself from them. If he can, he will give his nickname 'Husky' rather than his full name. Gideon, despite disliking the crime link, respects his Grandfather greatly and has a good relationship with him though they haven't talked in years.
