Private investigator hired originally by Morris to look into Diana's past[1], though by the time he got results things no longer mattered as much as the Children had experienced their Homecoming. Morris hired him again later to dig up information about the Aryan Legion so that he could hurt them[2]. As a gay black man, Matthews jumped at the chance to deliver some payback to the AL.
