What Happened
A Night at the Opera
On her return to the Condor offices after a day of negotiations with Coleman, Diana found herself the recipient of an invitation. Handwritten on crisp, high quality paper, beneath an embossed seal of a rose and cross, was an invitation for her to attend a performance of Gounod's Faust at the Moore Opera House on Friday evening. Preparations would have to be made, one had to look ones best for such social occasions. Thankfully Price would be out of hospital by then and could serve as a plus one or just be accompanying her as the help, whichever best suited the situation.
