- Conall Stonetalker, older Irish-American man, member of the Hunters in Darkness, keeper of the Caern
- Old Man Autumn, large, wild-haired and stone-faced man. Hunter in Darkness. Former mentor of Morrigan. Travelling with Jenny, perhaps unwillingly.
- Jenny, spindly-limbed, wide-smiling woman with claws and fangs even in human form. Took a shine to Atlas, then introduced her to Baishan of her own reasons.
