• Melanie Roth- Victim de la nuit, a gift from Diana to Lane.
• Lane (First Appearance) - Head of the Court, master of a part of Blackmouth. Potently charismatic.
• Elijah (First Appearance) - Priestly middle-aged man, theologically minded, spoke to Jane about scriptures not for the ears of mortals.
• Peters (First Appearance) - Stern-faced man, angry at Diana's intrusion into his domain until a deal was done.
• Victor Grant (First Appearance) - Large African-American, took to Morris on learning of his assault on the Aryan Legion.
• Kenneth Garcia (First Appearance) - Outwardly pleasant Hispanic man who held himself above the doings of the court.
• The Italian Man, the Biker, and the White-Eyed Woman (First Appearances) - Other vampires at the court.
• The skinhead (First Appearance) - Spotted the Children at Sebastian Park, called someone when he saw Morris. Panicked when he was attacked, shot Morris and ran.

Locations

• Worshipful Fellowship of the Rose and Cross: A bastion of an past age surviving in the fallen streets of Ormwood. Site of the Court.
• Sebastian Park: Where the Children were left after the Court, and where Morris was shot in an altercation.
• Stanton General Hospital: A sterile suburban hospital with a very capable ER.
