Background
Jack has been doing this for a long time, and he attributes his success to not taking things too seriously. So many wolves burn themselves out or die gloriously but for what? The world is still the same and their territories would have been better off if they had lived. He remembers the Blackwood and her grand plans, and how they ended up falling apart when the leeches' slow-simmering gang wars burst into chaos in the '90s. She's gone now, maybe coming back or so he heard, but for now she's gone and the sept is cracked a hundred ways into little squabbling packs that can't even hold the scraps they have now.
But he has a pack, and Morrigan has a plan that might actually work, and he's happy to go along for the ride. He has tales to hear and things to do, and maybe he could make something of this little piece of the broken mess that is Blackmouth.
Description
A lean, rangy-looking man in his early 50s, dark hair threaded with grey, skin weathered. Clothing well-worn with a black leather trenchcoat so old and worn that the material has faded to grey along the seams.
Storytelling Hints
Jack can talk a lot but he prefers not to say anything important, just waits for the right moments to say his piece, often interspersed with reminiscences and odd tangents once the train of thought gets going. But speaking or not, he is always watching and listening, picking up the details that others let slip. Sometimes the cracks in the facade show and he says something inappropriate or out of date, or he finds amusement at things that only make sense to him. If anyone notices, he just shrugs and makes no apology for being an old dog not able to keep up with all the new tricks.
Blood & Bone: Warden/Guru. Jack is protective over his charges, though prefers to turn aside threats to them with the right words or clever ideas rather than immediate violence.
