The 'Iron Masters (Farsil Luhal in the First Tongue, lit. "masters of the canals") are one of the five Tribes of the Moon.

There have been few Iron Masters in Blackmouth since the violence of the Nights of the Broken Moon killed many members of the tribe and forced the rest to flee or go underground. The tribe has started to recover since those dark times, but they are a shadow of what they once were.
Notable members of the tribe who have appeared in chronicles set in Blackmouth include:
- Jack Crow, member of the Wardens and survivor of the Nights of the Broken Moon, a wily old Ithaeur who knows more of Blackmouth's secrets than any wolf alive.

- Tom Heartkeeper, survived the Nights of the Broken Moon by escaping the city, now returned at a friend's request and seeking help to train his recently Changed son.
- Anna Ghostglass, member of the Tunnelrunners, keeping a low profile and working to undo some of the brokenness of Lockham.
