Neil Evan McCracken, known to the Uratha by his deed name of Truth-in-Dried-Blood is the patriarch and alpha of the McCracken Clan of werewolves, an Elder of the Blood Talons tribe, and possibly one of the most dangerous werewolves in eastern North America. He is responsible for starting the violence against the Iron Masters during the Nights of the Broken Moon and personally killed several members of the tribe, including Silvijo Dragić in the ritual combat that ended the pogrom.
