Description

A large man settling into middle age, with the sort of barrel-chested, large-gutted build that power-lifters and real strongmen have, muscle with padding that could be mistaken for fat by the foolish. Dominic could easily be underestimated, a contender gone to seed with tired eyes, thinning hair and grey-speckled beard. The fresh scars on his knuckles show the lie to this, and his smiles turn predatory when someone pushes him far enough to show violence still lurking in his heart.

Storytelling Hints

Dominic seems cold at first, letting his deep, rumbling voice and large size put people off until he gets the measure of them. He smiles easily and the rough edge to his voice just as easily breaks from a growl to a laugh. if someone is worth talking to, they're worth being honest to. He prefers trading war-stories and hearing about others past glories to talking politics, and refuses to sugar-coat things just because it might be diplomatic to do so. He hides it well but there is a hollowness to his good cheer, and an inner emptiness that easily turns into outer violence if pushed too far.
